Explorers: Classic Pittsburgh Recipes is the perfect event for you. History Explorers provides lessons
designed for children between the age of 5-8 to teach them about the history of Pittsburgh. This event will be held at the Heinz History Center on February 20, 2019, and will be teaching the history of Pittsburgh through the cooking of classic dishes such as pierogi and chipped-chop ham.
Children and their parents will learn more about the city through cooking, games, art, and other hands on activities.These sessions will be led by museum educators who will be sharing their knowledge and passion for local history, so it is sure to be an exciting outing.
