Tesla's Second Quarter Recovery!
Tesla has been struggling in recent months with their sales. In the first quarter of this year, Tesla manufactured 77,100 vehicles but only delivered 63,000 which is 31 percent lower than their deliveries from the end of 2018. Analysts thought Tesla would deliver 76,000 cars this quarter, so even they are shocked by the dip.
However, Tesla seems optimistic that the second quarter will be better for them saying that a lot of their vehicle deliveries will have to move to the second quarter due to the delays during the first. The CEO of Tesla Elon Musk is already looking forward to his next idea, vehicles driving themselves in a robot taxi fleet. Musk is gathering with investors today to reveal his self-driving technology. Hopefully this new car technology will help Tesla improve their sales and get their financials back on track.
