Trade In East
In global news, China and the United States have almost completed the final stages of a trade deal. China is offering to lower tariffs and other restrictions on American farm, chemical, auto, and other products.
The U.S. is offering to remove most, if not all, the sanctions imposed against Chinese products since last year. The trade pact should be signed by President Trump and Chinese leader Xi Jinping within the next few weeks. There should also be a summit between the two leaders sometime in March where they will be discussing the details of the trade. If the deal were to fall through, the U.S. has threatened to assign tariffs on 25 percent on $200 billion worth of Chinese imports. The negotiators of the talks are also trying to create a process that would allow complaints from U.S. Companies to be addressed. The process included the use of officials from both countries to judge disputes made.
